Some couples visit a dozen venues before they find the right one! The Cullens didn't need to. Both Reece and Carla had fallen for The Venue separately - she'd always loved the courtyard and those big arched windows, and Reece had been to a family wedding here years before and never forgotten it. When they got together, there was only ever one venue in the running.

"We didn't even view anywhere else," they said. "We booked a viewing and we knew there
and then that was the one."

The CEREMONY

An indoor ceremony, with a circular floral arch in front of the tall arched windows and candles lining the aisle - it was simple, romantic, and let the room speak for itself. Reece wore a traditional kilt and the bride walked the aisle in a stunning strapless lace gown - the kind of entrance that makes a room go quiet.

After the ceremony, the two of them walked back up the aisle together as a married couple, guests on either side, smiles everywhere! It's one of those moments that always feels special at The Venue - the light through those windows, the drapery of the ceiling and the warmth of everyone around you.

The EDEN Garden

One of the many standout photos from the day was taken in the Eden Garden! The bride standing on the wooden decking of the summerhouse, autumn leaves scattered around her feet, her cathedral-length veil elegantly trailing behind her. It's a shot that shows just how much variety there is in the grounds here - five minutes from the ceremony and you're in what feels like a completely different world.

Into the Evening

As the evening progressed, the couple cut their stunning three-tier naked cake on a modern geometric stand and then the party was in full swing!

Later, the two of them slipped outside for a quiet portrait, festoon lights glowing above them. After all the excitement of the day, there's something lovely about that - just the two of them,
a moment to take it all in.
