The Venue is in the heart of historic Musselburgh, a perfect place for bringing friends and family together to celebrate all of life’s moments. A versatile, fully exclusive events space that can welcome up to 350 guests but can also be partitioned for the more intimate celebrations or smaller gatherings.

As of 2025 The Venue is owned and managed by a subsidiary business of Eskmills Ltd which owns and manages all 12 buildings within the site. They have invested heavily in updating and improving all facilities at Eskmills and have great plans for The Venue to make it one of Scotland's best wedding, event and conference facilities.

CHARACTER & STYLE

Eskmills was originally a cotton and rope mill dating back to the Victorian era of the 1800’s and one of the leading employers back then with 800 people working on the site.

Musselburgh (known as the Honest Toun) dates to the Roman Empire, with many historic buildings from the 18th and 19th century like Eskmills still in existence. Along with the well-known independent school Loretto, and Queen Margaret University. With excellent train connections and the A1 and Edinburgh City Bypass both skirting the town, Musselburgh has a thriving and lively centre, and is the biggest settlement in the county of East Lothian.
