Multicultural Weddings at the venue
Not all weddings look the same, and we embrace that here at The Venue. We take the time to learn about your traditions, your culture, and your story, and work with you to create the wedding day you’ve always dreamed of.
With space for up to 350 guests, we’re ready to welcome big families and even bigger celebrations. Our flexible layout means we can adapt the space to suit your plans, whether you’re looking for a grand entrance, a beautiful mandap, or space for traditional ceremonies and dancing.
You can say your vows outdoors in our Eden Garden, surrounded by trees and the sound of the river, or inside our Victorian mill, where twenty-three elegant arched windows let natural light pour in, creating a beautiful setting for your day. As evening falls, the courtyard lights up, and the warm glow inside sets the scene for the celebrations to continue.
From your first visit to your final dance, we’re here to help you create a day that feels true to you and your family.
CELEBRATING YOUR TRADITIONS
We have lots of experience hosting multicultural weddings at The Venue, including Sikh, Hindu, and Muslim ceremonies.
A decorative mandap can be set up indoors or outside in our landscaped gardens, which are licensed for civil ceremonies and provide the perfect backdrop for photos.
If your plans include a sacred fire, our gardens can safely accommodate this, allowing you to hold a meaningful ceremony surrounded by nature and your loved ones.

Caterers & External Suppliers*
We’re happy to provide a list of preferred caterers who know The Venue well. If you choose your own caterer, they’ll need to bring crockery, cutlery, glassware, and linens, as well as their own staff to serve on the day.
To keep everything running smoothly, we’ll ask your caterer for copies of their public liability insurance and food hygiene certificates. They will also be required to sign an agreement covering cleaning, conduct, and rubbish removal after your event. If your chosen caterer hasn’t worked at The Venue before, they will need to visit ahead of your wedding.
For any equipment brought in, caterers and external suppliers must provide a risk assessment along with PAT testing and safety certification.
A £750 security bond is required in advance. Our corkage policy and full terms and conditions are available on request.
