This year at Eskmills we put all things glittery centre-stage with our sparkle, shimmer and shine Christmas party nights. It’s been no secret that we host the biggest and best Christmas parties in the area and we have not disappointed. The final countdown to Christmas is well underway and we’re reminiscing over the last month.
Overall, we’ve delivered a total of 12 parties over the festive period and served up a total of 3,454 Christmas dinners! It’s safe to say our delicious Turkey ballotine filled with apricot and thyme stuffing, honey glazed roast root Christmas vegetables, golden châteaux potatoes and juniper and sage jus went down an absolute treat with our party guests.
We’ve served 10,362 canapés that have been washed down with 6,908 glasses of prosecco – that’s not including all of the individual bottles that have been sold!
Our trusty DJ Colin has played a staggering 72 hours of festive music, there’s been lots of singing, dancing and we imagine some very sore feet (and heads) to follow! We’ve had 2,592 hours of staffing to make it all possible and even had 7 people walk into our glass door at reception. If we lined up all of our guest’s head to toe, we’d be able to stretch from Eskmills Venue all the way to Prestonpans (3.5 miles if you wondered).
Most importantly, we’ve had a ball welcoming all of our fabulous guests to Eskmills Venue, not only over the festive period but throughout the whole of 2016. There is so much to look forward to in the new year and we have a great feeling that 2017 is going to be a fantastic year.
