There’s so many great reasons to tying the knot on Valentine’s Day, that we thought we’d share some of them with you.
Weddings are a great occasion to get everyone – friends and family; single and taken – together to spend the day dancing and celebrating together. No one likes to be alone on Valentine’s Day, so what better for your guests to all share the love with you both. You never know, singletons could meet the person of their dreams at your big day!
The holiday is also a great excuse to really get involved in a theme. Think big red heart-shaped balloons, red and pink confetti, a red or pink flower arrangement theme and bridesmaid dresses, our gorgeous light up ‘love’ letters and an abundance of hearts, everywhere. This is perfect or all those hopeless romantics, or for couples that need an easy anniversary date to remember.
You could also incorporate a red food and drink theme too, with red wine, pink rose or champagne or a red hued cocktail for your guests on arrival. For dinner you could offer a starter of a delicious tomato soup, a main of a succulent cut of red meat with accompaniments and a tasty red berry desert. You could also have a delicious red velvet wedding cake too to really complete the theme!
