We hosted a FABULOUS 70th birthday party at Eskmills Venue last week. It was for Bill, organised by his lovely wife Ruth.
Over 70 guests were there to celebrate, and were welcomed with a glass of fizz on arrival. Then they tucked into mini pies and fish and chip cones, before rocking out to our beloved DJ Colin. Edinburgh-based band the Hipple People also got everyone’s feet tapping with a fantastic selection of rhythm and blues tunes.
There were some lovely wee touches to the event – we especially liked the gorgeous macaron tower and the piano birthday cake – made specially as Bill used to play keyboard in the band. The photo booth also gave guests some great opportunities to capture the fun and merriment – aren’t Bill and Ruth a great couple?!
