Don’t you think January, February, October, November and December are just the perfect time of year to get married? We’ve come up with 5 reasons as to why we think getting married in winter is just ideal.

Romantic evenings

As the days get darker much earlier on, you can start your evening party that bit sooner. This means you have longer to enjoy it! Dress up our venue with warming candles and get the atmosphere going from the moment dusk sets in. Our gorgeous fairy light curtain and pillar lights help create a magical scene, perfect for your big day. Eskmills Venue is just as beautiful at night as it is in the day.

Make your money go further

By booking an off-peak wedding, you’ll save more than a few pennies on your big day. Plus, choosing a winter wedding date gives you a great opportunity to bargain with your suppliers. January and February tend to be quieter months, so you’ll find suppliers have more availability than usual. Yay!

More availability

If you’ve got your heart set on our venue, you’ll find it easy to get your dream Saturday date in winter, as it’s off-peak wedding season. This is particularly helpful if you’re getting married at short notice. It’s even easier to get the date you want if you decide to get married midweek.

A holiday season

Of course, winter isn’t just the Christmas period. You could get married over Valentine’s Day too and still have a wonderful wintry theme. We’ve created a Valentine’s Wedding package especially for the most romantic day of the year. Think lots of red and love hearts. Lovely.

A seasonal highlight

If you marry  in the winter, it’s unlikely your guests will have been to a good do since Christmas or New Year, they’ll be ready for a good wedding party again.

We’ve got a fantastic Winter Wedding Package for just £5,000 for this magical season, and ample Saturday availability through-out February, October and November 2017. For details, contact us.
