We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for the inaugural Confetti Awards this month as Independent Caterer of the Year, and one of our featured weddings for the award was that of the lovely Fiona and Brian, whose special day at Eskmills Venue was a truly memorable occasion.

Wedding Spotlight

The bride looked stunning in a fairy tale gown, and the humanist ceremony was followed by a drinks and canapés reception – our catering partner Hickory’s signature Parmesan and Poppyseed Lollipops were a big hit with guests – the perfect partner to the celebratory fizz poured by our fabulous team.

The dinner menu included a fragrant Roasted Shallot & Thyme Soup and a White Chocolate & Peach Cheesecake and as dinner made way for dancing, later in the evening we produced paper cones of fish and chips for the evening guests – a fun finishing touch for a wedding that was characterised by a great sense of warmth and a real party atmosphere.

Congratulations again, Fiona and Brian, it was fantastic to be involved in the planning for the day, to see it all come together and see the photographs afterwards!
